Dr. Raymond Board-Certified as both a Diplomat of Sleep Medicine and a Practice physician. He was born and raised in the great state of Alaska and has a true passion for patient care.

Paul graduated from Kenai Central High School and then traveled to the State of Washington where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1979. He then went on to complete his medical studies at the University of Washington and finished there in 1984. Dr. Raymond continues to stay up to date on the latest research and methods of treatment. He has multiple certifications and belongs to numerous organizations, including the American Academy of Sleep and the Alaska State Medical Association.

He is practicing at Kachemak Medical Group and also travels throughout the state consulting and lecturing on sleep medicine.

I was born and raised in Palmer Alaska where my father worked in the Agricultural Sciences. I developed a keen interest in science. I attended University at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. I worked my way through a bachelors of science degree in Natural Resource Management. While attending school I worked at the University Fire Department. I was a structural firefighter and EMT III. We provided fire protection and Emergency Medical services to the University and greater Fairbanks area.

After graduation at UAF I attended Physician Assistant MEDEX southwest program in Utah. I graduated in 1994. I have provided primary medical care in many communities around Alaska Kotzebue, Fairbanks, Tok, Big Delta, Healy, Kenai, Ninilchik, and Homer. Much of my attention is placed on Diabetes care, Viral hepatitis, and primary medical care.

I look forward to providing medical care in Homer Alaska.

Jeffrey Copeland DO

Dr. Jeffrey Copeland, DO is a Family Medicine Physician who is devoted to caring for families. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Florida in 1998 and his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2002. He is trained in full scope family medicine which includes the care of infants through end of life. After serving two tours in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps and three years on Guam, he moved to Alaska with his wife and twin boys in 2012. When he’s not attending to his patients, he is usually spending time with his family doing an assortment of activities outdoors.

Meghan Young APRN

Meghan Young, APRN-BC is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of nursing experience and almost a decade of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her graduate degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Throughout her career, Meghan has worked in primary care, hospital and pulmonary medicine, and gastroenterology, giving her a broad clinical background and a particular strength in GI health. She has also completed advanced continuing education in hormone replacement therapy through WorldLink Medical, caring for both men and women.

Meghan takes a down-to-earth, individualized approach to medicine. She believes lab values and guidelines are important, but they are only part of the picture. She enjoys getting to know her patients, listening to their concerns, and digging a little deeper when something just doesn’t feel right. Her goal is for patients to feel heard, comfortable asking questions, and involved in decisions about their health. After many years in Florida, Meghan traded the heat and crowds for Homer and a new Alaskan adventure. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys traveling, good food and wine, spending time with family and friends, and life with her three Sphynx cats and Doberman.
