Cherie grew up in rural Pennsylvania near Hershey. She obtained an Undergraduate Degree in Internal Business and Accounting from Duquesne University. Cherie completed the Duquesne ROTC program, and after graduation, served 5 years Active Duty in the U.S. Army as an officer in the Finance Corps. Cherie completed Jump School at Ft Benning, GA, and her assignments included Panama (470th Military Intelligence Brigade), and Ft Bragg NC with the U.S. Army Special Operations Support Command, where she met her husband (also a paratrooper in the Army Special Operations Community). While in the military, Cherie’ completed her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She left the Army as a Captain, to pursue her longtime dream of becoming a Doctor. Cherie attended the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in Hershey, and completed her Family Practice Residency at York Hospital, PA.
Cherie loves being an active member of the Homer community and enjoys all the natural beauty and outdoor experiences that Alaska has to offer. We could not be more thrilled to have Dr. Inglis as part of the MediCenter family in Homer.
